This aerial panorama, photographed by James Blakeway, commemorates the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500® Mile Race. The inaugural running in 1911 was won by Ray Harroun, the man nicknamed "The Little Professor." Billed as "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing®," the Indy 500® is the most prestigious event of the IndyCar calendar, and one of the oldest and most important automobile races. It has been declared the largest single-day sporting event in the world. Likewise, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway itself is regarded as one of the world's largest sporting facilities in terms of capacity, with as many as 350,000 fans in attendance.

Comes in two different sizes, a straight fit black metal frame at 40 x 13.5 (115), or a double matted with glossy black frame at 44.5 x 17.5 (175). Print comes custom framed in a 1 3/4" wood moulding with a double, acid-free mat and Plexi. All framing is done in-house by our experienced framers using gallery-quality materials.
