Rocky Mountain National Park Nymph Lake | Scenic Panoramic Picture
from $123.90
The popular 1.1-mile roundtrip hike to Nymph Lake begins from the Bear Lake Trailhead, located at the end of Bear Lake Road. The rocky peak, located left of center, is Hallett Peak, which reflects off the water when the wind is calm. During the summer months, Nymph Lake is filled with yellow pond lilies and the shore offers an ideal spot for a picnic. In the winter, when the lake freezes over, visitors are able to enjoy a ranger-led snowshoeing adventure across the ice. If visitors continue along the trail another six-tenths of a mile, they will discover another subalpine beauty known as Dream Lake.
