Originally opened in 2001, the Nashville Superspeedway is the largest concrete-only track on the NASCAR schedule. The grandstand holds permanent seats for 25,000 but the track has capacity to accommodate up to 150,000 with portable seating. The 1.33-mile D-shape oval track, located about 20 miles southeast of Nashville, closed in 2011 but reopened again in 2021 with a NASCAR Cup Series event. The track currently hosts several NASCAR events including a NASCAR Cup Series race, a NASCAR Xfinity Series race, and a NASCAR Truck Series race.
