Product Specifications

  • Dimensions: 2 1/4 inch Wide (2 1/4"W), 1 inch Height (1 1"H), with a 1/2 inch Rabbet (1/2"R) depth.

  • Design: This specific profile features a 2 1/4-inch width real wood base with a distinct bluish wash tone paired with a mottled gold decorative edge, making it an excellent choice for canvas paintings, fine art prints, or traditional gallery pieces

  • Best Suited Art Styles & Mediums

    • Landscape & Seascape Paintings: The subtle blue wash in the grain naturally enhances paintings featuring water, skies, coastal scenes, or atmospheric horizons.

    • Gold Leaf & Warm-Toned Artwork: The mottled gold trim creates a beautiful visual anchor for art that incorporates metallic gold leaf accents, warm sunset tones, or amber highlights.

    • Traditional Fine Art Prints & Oils: The 2 1/4" width offers a classic, substantial border that balances mid-to-large scale oil paintings, heavy giclée prints, or multi-matted historical reproductions.

    • Canvas & Deep Work: Because it is structurally robust, a real wood moulding like this is excellent for carrying heavier mounts or canvas textures.
