Beginning on November 9, 1995, and ending almost 11 years later, the Colorado Avalanche held the NHL record for longest consecutive attendance sellouts at 487. The Colorado Avalanche won eight division titles in its first 10 seasons in Denver and is the only team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup® Championship its first season after relocating. The club won their second Stanley Cup Championship in 2001, when it defeated the New Jersey Devils®.
