Turret Arch is the smallest of the three arches found on the Windows Loop Trail in Arches National Park and is named for the tower which ascends from the south end of this distinctive feature. There are two holes in this formation. You can walk through the South Window. The North Window is high up on the rock face. This view of Turret Arch was taken through the North Window of the formation named The Spectacles. The massive towers and windows in Arches National Park were created by weathering and erosion of the sandstone, which continues today.
